Design, Stories & Heritage

Mireya began as a way of holding onto something;
a name, a lineage, a way of making.

What you’ll find here are fragments of that story.

The Claudia Bag

The Claudia Bag marks our beginning — shaped through gratitude and intention.

Named after the founder’s aunt, Claudia, whose home in Mexico City held a time of closeness and learning. It was there that she first began working with leather.

" When I was designing my first bag, my mind kept returning to Mexico City.
To my aunt, the smell of coffee & the long conversations. The form comes from that time; soft, curved, with a quiet sense of feminine ease and movement."

Philosophy

Mireya is rooted in a slower way of making.
Objects are not designed to be replaced, but to be lived with. To carry time, use, and memory.
Each piece begins with a story, taking form through material and close collaboration with artisans.

Produced in small batches, to be carried and kept.

Behind The Name

Mireya

(mee-REH-yah)

"Mireya is a name passed from my grandmother to my mother and sister — a lineage of women who shaped my understanding of art, beauty, and devotion.
It carries a quiet strength and a sense of presence, a heritage that continues to shape my work."
